DRK Comment Rules

The way this is gonna go is that I will post the translation in chunks in posts like these once a week. Then, the comments section will be open for people to discuss! That's mostly what this post is for: hashing out the rules and familiarizing people with the format.

COMMENT RULES
1) Feel free to mention anything in the novels that has already been posted in this community, but DON'T spoil anything that happens later, even in spoilertext. That also goes for vague/coy comments. If someone speculates that Kirigiri is a vampire and you come in like "Having read spoilers for the rest of the novels... I'll just say that will be addressed very soon ;)" THAT IS A SPOILER and seriously don't do that. (Disclaimer: Kirigiri is not revealed to be a vampire...........yet)
1b) Speculation isn't spoilers. Don't let the above rule scare you away from genuinely forming theories. Some people are bound to get it right. In that above example, the person originally speculating that Kirigiri is a vampire wouldn't have committed any offense!
2) You are allowed to spoil other parts of DR canon (the games, Danganronpa Zero, etc.) but please only if it is within spoilertext tags, and you mention in the comment or subject what the spoilers are for (e.g. "Ultra Despair Girls spoilers"). People who haven't beaten all of the games should get to enjoy DRK too! You can use the following code to post spoilertext on Dreamwidth:

3) Be cool. Don't make offensive/off-color comments, and don't let a comment thread devolve into ad hominem attacks. Minor offenses will be met with warnings and reminders, but excessively hateful speech will be deleted without comment.
4) You can use a Dreamwidth account or OpenID, or comment anonymously, as suits your preference! If somehow the comment section becomes a cesspool anonymous comments may be disabled in the future, but let's prevent that from happening by following the above rules.
5) Speculate and comment away!

Breaking these rules may result in your comments being deleted or your username or IP being banned from the community, depending on the severity of your offense. I want to cultivate a safe and fun space for discussion.
