We understand what her and goal is, getting accepted into hope's peak to confront her father, but this shows just how far and how willing she was to go, even going against her family's traditions, in order to achieve that goal.

The mystery of how Kyoko's hands got burned is one that many people wish to know. I don't know how I'll feel when I finally discover the truth, but at the very least I'm enjoying the journey.
