To analyze from a meta perspective, I think it's fair to assume at this point that volume 1 is one of those mysteries that hinges upon a single central trick, in this case, dismemberment.
If that's the case, then the first thing that comes to mind in regards to hiding a corpse is pieces in small spaces. The reason the five detectives searched the facility was to locate their mysterious employer, an intact, living person. But Kyoko has already logically determined that the culprit dismembered their body double before bringing it to the facility. Which means that what was hidden was not "a corpse", but rather "fourteen separate body parts". If each body part was hidden in a separate hiding place too small for an entire body, then the detectives looking for a whole person wouldn't have checked the relevant areas.
Knowing Kitayama, the hiding spots have probably been adequately hinted at already, but I haven't a clue where.
